Faro by Atlasberg Chrome extension privacy policy

Effective October 29, 2026, version 1.0. Summary in English of the privacy policy of the Faro by Atlasberg Chrome extension. The full text in Portuguese, published on this page and at https://atlasberg.com/pt-br/faro/extensao/privacidade, is the binding version. The core rule: the extension reads nothing until you click a Faro button, and what it reads goes to your company's account on Faro.

Controller

Sobimann Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA, CNPJ 33.302.232/0001-53, operating as Atlasberg, is the controller under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). The extension connects the browser to your company's account on Faro (https://faro.atlasberg.com) and only works for people with access to that account.

What the extension does

Single purpose: save, with one click, ads chosen by the user in the public ad libraries (Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn) and the visible posts of Instagram and TikTok profiles to the company's private library on Faro, and help the user publish on the company's own Instagram and TikTok what the team approved on Faro. It reminds at the scheduled time and prepares the post; the person always clicks Publish. The extension never posts, comments or replies on its own.

A consent notice opens on install. Until you agree, no Faro button appears.

Data read, only when you click

  • Public ad libraries: the clicked ad's library ID, advertiser, text, headline, call to action, landing link, run dates and media URLs; on the competitor monitor, the same fields for the ads already on screen.
  • Instagram and TikTok profiles: name, handle, photo, bio, public counts and the posts already loaded on screen (link, cover, video URL when present, caption, type, date and visible counts).
  • The company's own connected account: handle, profile and post metrics, up to 25 visible comments with commenter name and text to suggest replies, and the link of the post the person published.
  • Media files from the platform CDNs (fbcdn.net, cdninstagram.com, tiktokcdn.com, licdn.com) when the Faro server cannot fetch them.

Never read

Cookies, passwords, login data or session contents, browsing history, pages outside the listed sites, location, private messages or payment data. On Instagram the extension reuses the data the page already loaded, or repeats the page's own profile request inside instagram.com after your click, without reading the session. No remote code: everything ships in the package published on the Chrome Web Store.

How the data is used

Only to provide the features you trigger: the company library and boards, AI analysis of ads and profiles, performance charts, suggested replies (pasted, never sent), post reminders and publishing assistance. Legal bases: performance of the Faro contract, legitimate interest in researching public ads and profiles the company chose, and the consent recorded on install.

Where it is stored

In the browser (chrome.storage.local): the extension token, the consent record, preferences, the last saved item and the reminder schedule; only the token leaves the browser. On Faro: your company's account, isolated from other companies, with media copied to Faro storage. Comments sent for reply suggestions are not stored. The server keeps only a hash of the token. All traffic uses HTTPS.

Sharing

No sale or rental. Data is processed only by the processors already listed in the Atlasberg privacy policy, under contract: Cloudflare (hosting and media storage), Supabase (database and authentication) and Google Gemini (AI analysis and reply suggestions), plus disclosures required by law.

Limited Use

The use of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data is used only to provide and improve the features above; it is not transferred except to those processors, to comply with law, to fight fraud and abuse, or in a merger or acquisition with your prior consent; it is never used for advertising, profiling or credit decisions; and no Atlasberg staff reads it except with your permission, for security, for legal compliance or in aggregated and anonymised form for internal operations.

Retention and deletion

Data stays in the company account while the service is contracted or until someone with permission deletes it, then for the applicable legal periods. Disconnect in the extension popup, revoke the token at https://faro.atlasberg.com/extensao/conectar, delete ads, profiles and monitored brands inside Faro, uninstall the extension to clear browser data, or write to [email protected] to delete your company's data or your Atlasberg Account.

Your rights and contact

Under the LGPD you may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion, portability, information on sharing and withdrawal of consent, and you may complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD). Contact our data protection officer (DPO) at [email protected]; we answer within 15 days.
